Who can do Finale?
Alongside our crew & troupe dancers, up to 2 dancers from each weekly class will be invited to join our 2025 finale crew! Finale invitations will be sent via email.

What ‘Finale Crew’ will my dancer be in?
We have two ‘Finale Crews’ that make up our finale…
JUNIOR FINALE CREW - This is for our dancers under 13 years who dance in a crew, troupe or have been nominated from their weekly class.

SENIOR FINALE CREW - This is for our dancers 13+ who dance in a crew, troupe or have been nominated from their weekly class.

How much does Finale cost?
There is a $20 finale fee for all finale dancers.
This fee covers the cost of coaches, assistant coaches & studio hire (as we do hire a larger space to put it all together in term 3/4).

What do dancers wear for finale?
This year ALL finale dancers will wear their 2025 Cast T-Shirt.
We have decided to do this to offer more cohesion with such a large group of dancers on-stage at the same time - overall making for a much more eye-catching and memorable finale!

Is Finale Compulsory?
NO! Being a part of our finale crew is completely optional. However, it does offer our dancers an extra opportunity to hit the stage whilst building bonds and connecting with dancers from across the studio!

Our junior finale will have 9 rehearsals across Term 3 and 4.
Please specific time, dates and studio locations below:

The below 5 dates, rehearsals will be at Pump Dance Studios (Level 1, 302 Taranaki Street) from 3:00 - 4:00pm

• Sunday 3rd August

• Sunday 10th August

• Sunday 17 August

• Sunday 24 August

• Sunday 31 August

The below 2 rehearsals would be 4:00 - 5:00pm at Te Whaea, National Dance & Drama Centre.

• Sunday 7th September

• Sunday 14th September

There will also be a short practice of finale prior to our Full Cast Rehearsal, from 11:30am - 12:30pm at Wellington High School.

• Sunday 12th October

The last finale rehearsal before the big day will be at Pump Dance Studios (Level 1, 302 Taranaki Street) from 3:00 - 4:30pm.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Due to having limited rehearsals to put the entire Finale routine together we ask dancers to only commit to being in the Finale crew if you can attend all the practices.

If you see clash with one or two of the rehearsals and would like to discuss if your child can still join the finale crew, please get in touch - we will always do our best to make it work!
